Hamilton, Bermuda:, a new online classified site allowing people to easily buy, sell and trade their goods, announced today the launch of its user-friendly app.

The exciting web development is the brainchild of I.T. specialist Chris Bennett, who saw a gap in the Bermuda market. The best part? It’s FREE for users to download and quick to get started.

“Quite honestly, I got the idea for after noticing similar sites weren’t living up to their potential,” Mr. Bennett said. “Some of them haven’t been updated in over ten years and there was an opportunity for me to use my skills and expertise to build something that was highly functional and also pleasing to the eye.”

“We allow people to buy and sell everything other than real estate. People can find boats, used cars, electronics, home goods and even pets.”

Designed especially for phones, the app makes it easier to take pictures of your items, then instantly post and monitor the sale. You can even pay to sponsor your post, making it more likely to be seen by visitors as they open the site.

Another feature that makes different from its competitors is it allows people to barter their goods in exchange for something else – a feature not offered by other classified sites on Island.

“I’m thinking it may attract a younger demographic than my competitors, but even people around my dad’s age” Mr. Bennett explained. “I let him test it and he found it a lot easier and simpler to use than the others. I’m also trying to push people to login through social media, that way it’s safer & you do not need to remember another password.”

This isn’t the first app Mr. Bennett has built under his technology business, ltd. He has several other products in the pipeline, including the newly released, a mobile loyalty & marketing platform.

So far in his spare time, Mr. Bennett has helped to launch a local radio station, created countless websites, apps and even clothing brands. He got involved in I.T. when working at Northrock’s Helpdesk at age 12 – and worked for host of telecommunications firms and reinsurance companies before branching out on his own in 2016.
